Not as exotic and spicy as a previous bottle a few weeks ago, but still - this is a unique expression of chardonnay; gooseberry, lime, pineapple, green garden herbs.

Oily texture on the swirl; impressive nose of lime, gooseberry, grass, kefir-leaves, and unripe pineapple, and clear but well-integrated oak; round and complete on the palate with cream, tropical fruits, and alkaline minerals. Never tasted anything quite like it. Love it!

Solid, creamy stone fruit though not that memorable. Not sure if worth price point

I like Pouilly Fuisse. Im no expert on this appellation so I can’t say how it compares to others but this was beautiful.

Pear on the nose. Palate: stone fruit, honey, slate and some oak. Hints of quince. Medium acidity.
