Chalky apples and bitter ink nose. Flavor is also bitter elderberry and tart cherry with some berry and a bit of smoke. Very drying on the tongue and chewy. A prettying classic Cab Franc profile. Nice example.

Jalapeño nose maybe a hint of chocolate. Profound spice and deep red/leathery/clay/tobacco with savory aftertaste. Medium body that requires sipping. Possibly good with a mole or Cuban cigar.
