Yeasty, floral, flaccid. The 5 years extended fermentation didn’t do the fruit any favors other than the unique texture. This was drank quicker than the recommended several hour decant, so maybe I didn’t see juice fully realize.

Dec 17th, 2017Leesy. Love the nose. Golden in color. Smells like Riesling. The time on lees here (5+ years) contributes a slight bitterness on the clipped finish. I think the underlying fruit here was good. Give it 3 hours of air and it finally shows much better!
