Paso Robles Highlands District Cabernet Sauvignon

Dense earthy currants with hint of white pepper. Bordeaux qualities.

This is the Lagrein from Paso Robles - inky dark color black cherry ( boysenberry ) slight spice wild fruit

I expected this to be over the top bc of the Paso fruit. But this was very well put together. Rich red berries, mocha, cinnamon, but ends with decent acid and no heat.

Blackberry, raspberry, cherry, currant, licorice, mossy earth and oak. Good structure and well-integrated tannins.

Dark fruits. Smells like a cooked blackberry and blueberry pie. Not complex but pleasant

More oak on the nose than taste, opens up quite quickly and nicely. Fresh blackberries, secondary notes of ripe cherries, hint of fresh forest floor. Medium-high alcohol, med-low acidity, medium body, medium-low tannins that are quite smooth.

Dry, sawdust, solid fruit, spicy.

Delicious.
