Racy, succulent wine with ripe aromas of pear and vanilla delight the nose. A spicy minerality and crisp acidity balance the flavors of vibrant Mandarin orange and lemon zest in the mouth. This is a versatile, succulent food wine, pairing well with a pan seared halibut in beurre blanc sauce.

Pineapple, Meyer lemon, and a whiff of laurel keynote the aromatics. The body is creamy and ample, the result of three months of malolactic sur-lie aging, and suggests lemon custard topped with ripe apricots and a sprinkling of nutmeg. Spritely acidity and the faintest hint of cypress balance the wine’s creaminess and weight, and the finish is like yellow silk. 14.3% abv | $28 (sample)

Big chard. Lots of butterscotch, oak , cooked pears and golden apples. Not every day but occasionally.

Poster Boy for contemporary buttery, oaky innocuous Cali Chard - this occasionally hits the spot tho, and getting this on close-out made it worthwhile.
