Elegant, food-friendly, great acidity, minerally and savory.

Mar 13th, 20222015 vintage. Moreau (owned by Boisset) doesn't own vineyards, but can obviously get their hands on high-quality grapes as reflected in this Vaillons. A warm vintage results in a wine that seems bigger in fruit and less mineral than usual. Very nice nose with apricot, flowers, a subtle nutiness and minerality. Attractive wine, with good, but not steely acidity, some complexity, minerality and good length that could be mistaken for Côte de Beaune.

Sep 23rd, 2018I mean…kind of boring. Salty and some minerality with good acidity but really a one note song kind of thing. Expected more, but not bad.
