Seven Oaks Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon

Quoting one of you: Toooooo Muuuuch Oooooooaaaaak. Couldn’t even pick the grape (served blind).

Raspberry preserves, cherry, prune, blackberry, licorice and oak. Medium-bodied and soft tannins.

Promised a friend I bumped into at Target I’d try it. It was thoroughly drinkable. Smooth cab. Blinded my bf on it and he guessed Merlot. Not especially complex but not unpleasant at all.

Full bodied, black cherry, black currant and plum. Med acidity, high alcohol. A bit flabby.

First time having this. Any good?

Not bad for the price point. Not a robust cab. Very gentle.

Not good watery and low on flavor

Paired well with grilled steak/zucchini, even better with a GF chocolate chip cookie after dinner!
