Cobolorum Kick On Ranch Petillant Naturel Santa Barbara County Riesling
This is a lovely wine, more mineral driven than Riesling sekt and with the addition of fine green apple, lemon and lime. There’s a hint of earthiness from the less in the bottle. Very nice, very dry and crispy acidic good wine. 12% abv

Jun 4th, 20222020 was the first disgorged vintage. So no explosions with this one 😅. Citrus and ripe pear. Not the zippy acid of as past vintages, a bit rounder maybe a little sweeter compared to past vintages (this is not a sweet wine though.)

Jul 24th, 2021think most of the bubbles went down the drain (with about a third of the wine) but nonetheless pleasantly odd Riesling? with some tropicalia and some tooth. kudos to the bottler for the instructions tied around the neck.

May 24th, 2018Bought this bottle at The Rose in San Diego. Our winetender recommended it, but also recommended drinking it before flying because it is so volatile. Luckily we opened it over a big kitchen sink at our hotel and not in the lobby. What a beautiful explosion! The wine itself had more of those characteristics of cider and kombucha.....but it was still super fun to drink!
