Berba Slavonija Graševina (Welschriesling)

Deep bright yellow gold (barrel fermented?). Initially shy but inviting nose of dried apple and white pepper. Spicy medium palate confirms the palate as well as the barrel fermentation(!), adding a bit of orange candy once it opens up (still dry, tho). Moderate finish typical of the style. Gott say I thought I'd be disappointed or at least underwhelmed by this wine. Not at all. This is a really nice dry expression of the variety that's got more complexity than expected. Drink now with pork or turkey.

organic, native yeast, lovely

has a riesling aroma, with a different sort of body, kinda like silvaner. interesting. the cool label tips the scale towards "sellable".

Age has not slowed this wine down in 2025. Multifaceted. Almost too much going on. Doesn't know when to settle down.

Fine table wine here in NOLA. Pairing with curried cauliflower.

Very interesting and complex. I was getting flavors from all over the map: apple cider, lavender, spice, vanilla, and stone. Has some body and the alcohol is nicely balanced. Very good, just missing a little acidity.

Golden. Light oxidation:), apricots. Great acidity, dry, stoney, long tart finish.
