This was one of the featured bottles at Bob’s tonight, and a really nice value at $99 off a restaurant list. Obviously young, it benefitted from the decant we gave it as it needed more time than the Chappellet. This is more old school/traditional style with the cherry tobacco, bay leaf and underripe blackberry notes on the nose, with a streak of black cherry & crushed rock on the finish. Hold or give it a lengthy decant.

Honestly a little disappointed. Found this to be two dimensional with limited flavour profile. Not saying it’s bad by any means but in this category at the $75 price point the competition is heavy. Maybe needs some years?

I always enjoy a good showing it Inglenook, as it’s just a downright solid Cab. Rich, dark fruits, Christmas spices, eucalyptus, and slight pencil shavings.

We chose this wine for our trip on the Napa Wine Train, and it didn't disappoint. The black current and black plum was nicely framed with silky soft tannins, graphite, and a general earthiness. Very enjoyable.
