Reserve Cask Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Structure, deep ruby color and fruit still intact. Subtle secondary notes come through on nose but a lovely experience all around.

Held on really well. Always like drinking a wine from my birth year. Surprising amount of fruit left

Inglenook - classic. Still some fresh blackberry fruit here, giving way to currant and tobacco after an hour or two. A treat to try this wine.

Past peak

I can’t believe how much fruit was left. Plenty of tertiary flavors behind dried strawberry, leading into leather, eucalyptus, and cassis.

The old Inglenook winery was the best cabs in the US. 1985 still alive and pure. Still dark red with slight bricking. Amazing at 30 years old
