The old Inglenook winery was the best cabs in the US. 1985 still alive and pure. Still dark red with slight bricking. Amazing at 30 years old — 9 years ago
This 2000 St Emilion was a delight. At first tight and tannic, after 1 hour it opened up and became smooth and plush. Lots of new french oak, but with time the black fruit dominated vstill primary. Mature, but 4 years from peak — 9 years ago
Too tannic at this point and the fruit may not stand up in the future — 9 years ago
Soft now and less Vino Nobile as new world sangiov. Still a nice pasta wine — 9 years ago
The perfect wine for Christmas eve with duck. Strawberry nose and red fruit forward with a touch of earth. Very approachable and fun — 9 years ago
Definitely a Mimosa wine — 9 years ago
Linear and focused. Very crisp and demanding of attention. This NV can age. — 9 years ago
Very mature and soft. Softer than i would of thought for a Gran Riserva. But earthy, rustic, dusty, and elegant — 9 years ago
Felt nostalgic for the turn of the century. This 2000 Chanlis held up beautifully with time. Straw colored now and still alive. The once razor cutting acidity has mellowed, and now petrol cream brûlée secondary flavors swim in the mouth — 9 years ago

Wow. After one hour decant surprisingly accessible. Wonderful black fruit and earth well integrated with almost neutral french oak — 9 years ago
