What a nose. Chambolle like for sure. Layered, floral, bright, mid season cherries. Chestnut, old library books, so clean and so complex. A nose that elevates this wine to a Langhe like presence. Stunning. Some apothecary notes of mint, fennel and rosemary. Just gorgeous. Superbly complex. Elegant and juicy with terrific mid season cherry fruit and lovely palate standing intensity. Velvety tannins but also some more tannin to burn and so amazing how long the fruit terroir finish is. Gorgeous.

This Nebbiolo emphasizes terroir rather than fruit. The nose is showing secondary notes that lead with intense crushed-rock laden gravel and old mahogany furniture scents, with only a wee bit of cherry fruit peeking through. Intense and very minerally in the mouth, this still has some tannin to burn. The finish is remarkably long and a tad bitter. Quite unique and atypical but still very good. Needs rich, rustic food.

What a nose. Smoke, leather, tar, roses, hint of mushroom, glorious old school Nebbiolo. Old bookcase aromas as well. Palate is juicy and concentrated and has great complexity and very velvety tannins. Very nice and fresh. Superb dark red and black fruits. Staining. Stunning.

Giant blackberry fruit with some spice. Some va on open. Needs 45 minutes to dissipate. Then it’s deep dusty roses. Palate is dark fruit. Still pretty evident tanins. Optimal drinking window Likely starts in 2021.

Now this is some Nebbiolo. Wow. What a nose. From what is considered their best vineyard. Stunning nose. Red cherries, tar, leather, grilled dried nuts, licorice, anise. So complex. Sickness. Big, complex and deep palate with palate staining fruit and firm but beautiful tannins. Big core of cherry fruit and this is unapologetically old school. So long and mineral on the finish. Powerful and deep yet light on its feet: profound.
