A striking amber color. Nose is full of apricots with a touch of barnyard funk. Marmalade and stone fruits on the palate.

Dried apricots, tangerines, candied orange, candle wax, custard, honeysuckle, dried thyme, forrest floor, black tea. Rounded acid, minimal tannin presence, juicy-oily texture, medium bodied, crisp citrus pulp-floral-herbal finish. Highly aromatic, balanced richness, esoteric yet polished.

2014. We had this wine here a few weeks ago and loved it with their food. It was offered on special tonight! Great wine to pair with a range of entrees. This bottle had a little more funky aromas but they blew off in minutes.

Jul 9th, 20172014. Delicious slightly funky orange wine from Sicily. Went absolutely perfectly with the arancini, smokey carrot panzanella, and scallop primers.

Memory is a little fuzzy but I recall some petrol on the nose, distinct nuttiness, citrus and honey notes. Very unusual and super interesting "orange" wine.
