Drinking fine, tart red fruits nose, bracing acid and slightly firm tannins. Classic food wine. Marked down for very funky combo ot tataric acid crystals (fine by me) combined w congealed proteinaceous(?) white slimy strings in bottom of bottle.

Lots of savory scents: barnyard, leather, smoky gravel. Fruit barely peeking out. In the mouth it’s rich and show dark plummy fruit and loads of savory, dark gravel minerality. Very soft and gulpable. Medium body and soft acids. Tasty short-term weekday night wine.

These are night 2 notes. On night one it was angular and a bit disjointed.

Night 2, however, it's showing a nose of musky warm garden soil, gingerbread, and ripe cherry juice. Crisp and lean in the mouth. Very minerally and cleansing. Very nice to wash down pork cutlet parmigiana. Good weekday night choice.

Really earthy and some spice. Black pepper, heavy fruit but not quite ripe, sage, thyme cedar. Good with pizza and pasta.

Some blackberry and a little dry strawberry fruit. The fruit was kind of weak and didn’t have the cherry notes I expected, maybe just a little black cherry. There was some oak, a little graphite, ash, and stone. A fair amount of acidity, medium-ish tannins, and a little heat. Didn’t seem like it all came together well.
