This Pinot is the ultimate testament to the '11 vintage & why it was one of my favorite years on record here in the Willamette Valley. Nose of black cherry, blueberry and intense white pepper highlighted by earth. Gorgeous acidity dances on the palate while rounding out the mix of red and black fruits. Super fine tannins on the finish are well integrated with its vibrant acidity. Finish is light and elegant, like a Pinot should be. Bliss.

This wine showed beautifully in a crowd of mostly 2012's. The purity was very striking, loved the spice content, piercing but very charming.

Bright cherry on the nose, almost carneros or santa barbara-esque.. Earth and dirt on the palate, lighter than a lot of pinots at this price point but no less elegant.. Nice wine, if not lacking a bit of complexity.

Great balance of ripe red cherries, earth and acidity. Proving the myths of the great 2012 Oregon pinots true!

Hyland Estates 2011 Pinot Noir. Love the light toastiness of this Pinot. Brings in the missy, earthiness. A touch of acidity on the nose. The pepper on the tongue carries this wine to an amazing finish.

A lighter colored red, has cherry and blackberry notes. It is bitter and acidic. Hasn’t developed yet due to being a younger wine
