Did a nice tasting at Hyde Vineyards in June this year. Color is a cross between ruby red and garnet. Nose - Brambly cherry, cloves, dried herbs and secondary notes of earth vanilla and slight raspberry. Taste - has a smooth and silky feel. Red cherry fruit, brambly herbs, and cedar are the initial notes followed by secondary notes of orange rind, pepper and strawberry that add to its medium plus finish.

This Pinot is rocking. Apparently there is a DRC clone connection. Tasted at the estate, it was the highlight of the visit. Great wine.
