Stunning! Completely balanced. Red fruits, baking spice a touch of brown sugar. I could drink this all night and be happy, but alas my last bottle of the vintage. Surprisingly under the radar, these wines are so good.

Feb 12th, 2017Garnet red with the faintest brown rim. Cocoa, cassis and cedar on the nose. The wine explodes with black cherries and raspberries on the palate. Silky tannins and a long finish. This flagship Cabernet from Husic is outstanding and made by Mike Hirby (Winter, Relic, Sarocka and who also made Realm up until 2011).

This was the Dos Palmas cab not a chard. Can't seem to get this recognized in the app correctly. Fruit was almost concentrated and had "roasted" overtones. Not for me.

I thought this over delivered. I’ve had several bottles from more recent vintages and didn’t expect this style to age as well as it has. The big fruit has settled nicely- not that their big fruit was ever a problem. It’s still up front but has settled down nicely with some leather and earth thrown in. What a great surprise.
