Marlborough Pinot Noir

I'm intrigued. My first older vintage NZ Pinot. It's aged beautifully; wild game, salty meat, funk. It has life yet. 2005.

Aromas of game like venison with a component of dark cherry and a touch of smoke. The cherry core matched up with a good strawberry vibe in the palate with great balance. Medium tannins suggest another 5 years of aging at least. Great value!

Nice balance of fruit and earthy notes.

My wife loved it. She prefers very light Wines

Light and easy. Fine sippin wine with pasta, pizza or solo... organic goodness

I agree with the ratings. It’s good but not outstanding. I don’t think I would order it again.

Plum, smoked peach, cassis and raisin nose with short zing yet lingering smooth fruit finish. Excellent when being thankful with turkey.

Very substantial. We had the 12 and 13 vintage. The latter was clearly the winner with more vibrancy and from a generally better vintage. 13' rates here.

Great pairing with Chef Chau's salmon cakes. Definitely tasting some cherry and other dark fruits. Just one more bottle remaining from our visit to the winery during our honeymoon
