Sep 2nd, 2023I’ve always loved this little wine. Medium bodied with apples and pears. Mineral and crisp but with long, creamy acidity.
Ages beautifully, 2018 not letting up. 375ml.

Straw in color. Granny Smith and tart lemon on the nose. Rounds out on the palate. Loads of minerality, stones, rocks on nose and palate. Nice little Friday evening wine.

Jun 20th, 2020Oldest cellar dates back to 1551, with rows of oak wine casks, over one hundred years old, crafted by the forefathers of the present generation of Hugels. The oldest cask in the world still in use: the Sainte Caterine, a capacity of 8,800 litres, built in 1715, the year Louis XIV died. Aromas of fruit & citrus aromas. Palate stone & tropical flavors, citrus notes, vivid acidity, medium finish. Nice!

May 20th, 2019This wine achieved the miraculous feat of tasting like nothing. Not bad, not offensive, not really anything in particular.
