This seems to get better every time I open a bottle. And, it's a 2014... light for a Burgundy, but delicious in every way. Gaining a nice mineral backbone with white mushrooms over time. This one can be sipped before dinner, but the acidity level works well with food too.

Small parcel of 1ha within the La Goujonne vineyard with vines planted in 1950. Clay based soil. Ideal to create an expressive, aromatic and slightly peppery Pinot Noir. Excellent wine.

For a chassagne rouge, excellent wine. Full bodied, peppery smooth, even a bit heady. 2009 vintage at calla’s in the hague. Lamy’s makes very affordable wine.

Nice velvety Chassagne. Rich dark fruits including strawberries, cherries. A slight hint of leather. Well balanced acidity, good concentration and long finish.
