Pale lemon with aromas of white flesh fruits, spice and herb notes. On the palate pear and melon flavors with grassy herbs and mild pepper tones. Well balanced, medium finish ending with lemon zest. Consistent quality. Age worthy. Very Nice.

On the palate pear and ripe melon flavors with grassy herbs and mild pepper tones. Well balanced, medium finish ending with lemon zest and yeasty notes. Very Nice, wish I had another ‘15.

2009 Obere Steigen came out of hiding. One of the most inviting and purely lovely Gruner I've had in a while. Soft but fresh, savory and fruitful, cool and hot. Wish I had another bottle. Or case.
