Cheesy name but a very good Howell Mountain Cab. Not much nose (granted I'm drinking it from a Phoenix hotel water glass), but a nice concentrated and brambly fruit palate with a long tannic finish. I'm not sure I'd pay the $125 winery price but for $60 at Costco it's well worth it.

Deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits, sweet spice and cedar. Flavors of blackberry, cherry and currant, smooth with vanilla, oak and leather notes. Dusty tannins on long finish ending with espresso tones. Has room to age. Tasting Sample.

Hatm's knoll is really a special wine. It displays the signature Howell mountain fruit but in a slightly silkier and more structured way than the regular HATM. Mountain berries and violet flowers on the nose yield to a silky smooth long finish with a hint of smokey cedar. Nice combo of power and grace. This is good stuff!

Nose of cassis, cherry, and burnt tar that resembles a paullic. Palate is sweet dark cherries with juicy plums on the finish. Delicious expression of Howell mountain

Big berry wine with smooth silky tannins and a very distinctive note of iron that runs through the nose and body
