Healthy bright, dark red to the rim. Musky nose combines dark raspberry, mocha, chocolate, shoe polish, mint and licorice, plus a suggestion of rocky minerality. Fine-grained and smooth but distinctly minty, conveying good concentration, healthy acidity and a slight greenness to its midweight dark fruit and licorice flavors. A tad sour on the end, with a repeating suggestion of eucalyptus, but the tannins are dusty and fine-grained. I'd drink this soon, before its remaining fruit disappears. (Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, June 2020)

Very impressed. I didn’t think I’d like this as much as I would. Bigger style, but tamed nicely by fiery menthol and eucalyptus tones.

Wow... so much eucalyptus, everywhere in this wine. This guy is ready to go, and absolutely delicious out of a mag. Believe this was a Foley production in 2000.

Foleys best wine he made for them. Especially in a magnum! If you can find it in this larger format, I would highly recommend it.

Got a Corvin tasting! Dark opaque Ruby with aromas of red fruits, oak, smoke, sweet herbs and spice. On the palate raspberry and blackberry flavors with notes of tobacco, cacao and espresso. Fine dusty tannins, satisfying acidity on complex lingering smooth finish ending with sweet oak tones. Nice! Drink now!

Delicious. Super concentrated dark fruit even after 13 years. This wine will see age 20 in fine form. Great co n plexity on the fi b is with menthol notes and cedar. Yum. Wish I had more.
