Westside Red Troublemaker Blend 1 from Hope family Wines. Inky purple. Extracted, high viscosity and stained tears. Ridiculously fragrant, powerful bouquet of fresh red and black berries, sweet cinnamon, a little pepper/heat. Palate big and bold red raspberry on approach, muddled blackberry and plum jam on mid palate. A little Mocha/cocoa on mid to finish, but it's a bit disjointed. Short finish. A simple wine, jammy CA but at $20 I'm not head over heels in love. It's a non vintage wine, mixing multiple vintages to make a consistent flavor year on year, similar to NV Champagne. I've met Austin Hope, so it pains me to not give this wine an OMG GO BUY IT review. It's good, but not blow your hair back good.

Purple and juicy. Raspberry, blackberry, plum, with white pepper at the start and cocoa in the short finish. Dryish. Not overly complex, but did well with steak. 14.5% ABV.

Wow. Major mocha bomb. Intense with strong cocoa, coffee and berry fruit notes.

Deep purple and inky. Chocolate, leather, berries - very powerful but not much lingering. Good for cold weather, fireplaces, and tv.
