If key lime pie in a butter crust with a vanilla whipped cream were not sweet...that is what this is like. Richness, lilting vanilla and cream harmonizing with butter and butter. It is oak on white done right.

My contribution to the evening - very Bordeaux styled with the main difference being the crazy Pyrazines in the aroma. 60% new French oak and 40% neutral oak barrel aging, with 91% Sauvignon Blanc, ending in Semillon and Muscat, 100% estate fruit, made by Kristen Belair, who spent time making wine at Turnbull, and Trefethen. Most guessed Bordeaux graves. Excellent wine and not what I expected. Kind of funky on the nose too, so though it is a pale, and light colored wine... it could actually use light decanting to let the funk and pyrazine burn off just a tad.

Trying, but far from white Bordeaux.

Similar but lighter than the 2015 vintage. Oaky and creamy.

The light oak makes the wine. Subtle tropical notes. Not too overwhelming on the citrus. A really nice smooth and balanced wine.

Oak is riding on top of this right now but it has great acidity.

One of my favorite "go-to" whites. The kiss of oak w Rutherford fruit at the end of a long week. Citrus, melon, floral white peach. Yum.

Crisp, tart, bold citrus. Big grapefruit.

While good I’m not sure if it’s worth the extra $$$. Still enjoyed it

Creamy, complex, and fantastic. A serious food wine with layers juicy apple and melon notes.
