Was excited to try this as we are big fans of their rieslings. This is good but not quite on the same level. Just get the slightest hint of unripeness here. Delicate and floral with lots of acid for sure. Tannins are just a whisper. Would be great with a white fish in a butter sauce.

Always love these reds by HF. Whites are truly lightning rods but the reds are just as nuanced with laser beam acids. Always feel guilty about drinking these wines because HF, which I believe initially started in 1989 have no back vintages. I would love to find some older HF wines though
