White Hawk Vineyard Syrah

Always one of my 'go to' wines when I chargrill a fat steak, the '10 Herman Story Syrah 'White Hawk Vineyard' never disappoints. A brooding dark ruby, this fruit forward blockbuster teases the senses with lush blackberry, roasted meat and dark chocolate aromas. Viscous texture and bracing minerality excite the tastebuds. Full-bodied, with chewy tannins preceding the extended finish.

Very much enjoyed this wine and the maker seems to be pretty cool.

Super big oaky Syrah. Just too big.

This is a very nice vineyard IMO.

I can understand why we only got one bottle in the wine club. This is as good as $100 Mollydooker
