Good, solid wine. Nice earthiness, hints of tabaco and mild fruit.

This '13 is from a peninsula across the water from Lisbon. This red is a honest field blend using all the vineyards grapes. The white grapes add a lively floral note and a touch of blood orange on the palate. Spot on delicious!

Black cherry, licorice, American oak. Somewhat stinky. Good.

A good blend that has a nice hint of sweetness showing how pleasant and versatile Portuguese wine is.

Went nicely with handmade Gloucester Old Spot pork sausages and then a beef and mushroom ravioli the following evening.

Decanted for 2 hours before drinking with the sausages.

Good. A rustic red with some real wildness of aroma and flavor. Makes me wonder what someone who lives in Portugal has for dinner on a cool fall night. Maybe a nice stew with bay leaf and other spices. Yeah!

This is a good everyday wine kind of earthy and just enough tannins
