A rich, full bodied wine from my favorite Portuguese wine area, Alentejano. Strong flavors need to be balanced against full flavored meats or herbed stews. I had some with some Humboldt blue goats cheese and it was fantastic... with Brie, not so much...

The first Portuguese red I've genuinely liked a lot. Slight tingle on the tongue, good legs, reasonably priced.
