Underrated wine. 2006 is stellar and in a great spot right now.

I like lemon brioche and thus I enjoyed this wine. A nice way to celebrate a colleague’s work anniversary.

2013 vintage. Prettier than the 2006 previously on the menu. That had decidedly bready notes and this drops that, introducing flowers and citrus/stone fruits instead. Drinking great now but another 2-5 years could vault this up the ratings scale. 9.10.25.

2006 vintage. A unique style. Light-medium body but verry wheat “breaddy”along the sides of the mouth during the finish. Excellent concentration throughout. Just starting to enter “the zone.” Seems like it will hold steady for a decade plus. Probably longer. Great deep, dark cellar candidate. 1.10.24.

Crisp, nice balanced with a little sweet and acidic apricot and pear flavors. Almost no yeasty, toasty notes. Fresh, bright, with a hint of cotton candy
