Cuvée des Enchanteleurs Brut Champagne Blend

Very mature a disappointment for the vintage . Had a 1985 the week before and it was more youthful. Not the best vintage for this cuvée. I have tasted this Champagne a few times

Gold in color with honeyed fruit, hints of apricot and a subtle soft acidity

Out of magnum a youthful 1990 that was elegant and complex . This one could go another ten years in magnum . Nice juice .

A little past it’s peak

I love Henriot they make very age worthy bubbles .

Classic bubbles good mineral and complexity just not quite the richness of the previous too .

Caramel , toffee, ripe spiced apple nose give way on the palate to stone fruits , apple , minerals with a long lasting palate staining finish with tons of dry extract . In a great place right now .

10 year anniversary so we drink 20 year old champagne. Extraordinary depth. Toasted brioche and caramel apple. Soft bubbles and a palate like buttercream. Truly remarkable.

Feeling special!
Good friends went deep into their cellar. Apple, pear, almond & brioche. The bubbles dissipated in slow motion. 18 years old but still vibrant. What a treat!
