Cuveé Les Rouges-Gorges Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Needs a lot of air, but once it opens, it reveals a wine with so much grace. Tart red cherries, under ripe strawberries, green stems, and lots of acidity.

So tightly wound, drinks more like a langhe Nebbiolo than a burgundy. Light, but tannic and tart. Even on the second day didn’t really open up much. It’s a lower priced burgundy but maybe it’s worth spending more, or alternatively spending less for a good langhe...

Decent. Needs a bit of time and definitely needed a good amount of air at this time.

Lovely. Extreme levels of drinkability. Medium dark cherry, light earth, integrated oak.

Nice complexity. Strong citrus notes.

Pretty, light, good value. Quick finish lays bear true colors. Lovely though.

Elegant. Stone, earth, and cherry.

Beautiful wine. Perfect hint of cherry to brighten up the minerality. 2008
