2004 vintage nice, round, fall fruit, autolytic character, seems at peak

cake frosting and red apple.

Amazing quality to value. A fuller bodied style and absolutely delicious.

first wine in 3+ weeks. Nice fruit and quiet mousse but a sour almond finish that detracted. Less after an hour but persisted.

Nose: yeasty with wet stone in the background
Palate: Big full mouthfeel with toasty notes on the finish.
A beautiful celebration in a bottle.
