2012. Gorgeous. Marvelous interplay of fruit, mineral and acidic freshness. Heading aromatics. Lovely.

Always a great bottle at this domaine. Medium bodied, not the deepest but very classy, elegant, pure fruit, mineral, with enough richness and roundness for great balance. Really delicious. 91-92
Superbe bouteille de Germain comme toujours, quelle classe. De corps moyen, pas le plus profond et le plus riche mais frais, élégant, minéral, du fruit pur avec juste assez de rondeur et de richesse, un vrai délice. 91-92

Special week in San Fran... splurge on this 25 year old Chardonnay... stunning savory Carmel butterscotch notes... deep gold in the glass.. still alive with vibrant acidity... perfect with open fire roasted petrale sole with brown butter. I’m not spoiled... I just prefer excellence in what I eat and drink. The Angler was amazing and the old burgundies stellar.
