A bit rough without a clear identity. There is a lot of pieces here, but they don't fit together quite yet.

Still a bit of acid mixed with earthy notes, graphite, and coffee. Cherry is also coming through. Will get more and give it some shelf time.

2008 is drinking really well, and has a long cellar life ahead of it. Still youthful waterline. Tarry, tobacco, saddle leather, and dark fruit notes are prominent. Soft tannins. Classic Napa, and great single vineyard for the price.
