Characteristic Heitz eucalyptus with some wet earth and rich red fruit. A tinge of sharpness on the finish. May have shown far better if it wasn't sharing space with a couple of wines that just totally shook my foundation. Shout out to Danny Bonaduce. #dannypartridge

Eucalyptus and earth, blue fruits and slight oak. Found at a private collection in NY and worth it. Luxurious mouthfeel, super smooth tannins but very youthful for a 34 yr old bottle. Special wine for a special day. Happy Easter @Marcus Lancaster wish you were here to share brother.

Apr 16th, 2017A real treat with this one. Unreal how fresh this wine was despite the age. Very nice floral hints with the iconic scent of eucalyptus. Elegant tastes of blue fruit, baking spices, cocoa and a little oak on the palate. Silky smooth tannins with a very nice finish. Enjoyed this wine on Friday night at a really cool tasting at Pappas Bros Steakhouse. This was the only US wine along with 12 superstar French wines.
