Excellent. Tasted with Patrick and Laura next to a Pinot noir and Zinfandel. This was best. Red fruit. Black currant. Prune. Graphite. Gravel. Baking spices. Cedar.

캘리포니아 나파 와인은 딱히 나쁘다라고 꼽을 것이 없이 대부분 괜찮은 수준이다. 그런데 그렇다고 아~! 이게 나파의 와인이구나 하는 특징도 없다. 굳이 특징이라고 말한다면, 프랑스의 세심함도 스페인의 강렬함도 없는, 그냥 이것도 저것도 아닌 애매한 것이 특징이랄까.
