Pale ruby. Aromas of cherry, allspice, and a whiff of moldy earth. Light bodied with tart cherry fruit and pepper on the palate. Played well with a variety of plates at our table and was very quaffable at only 12.5% ABV. Blend of 80% Zweigelt, 15% Blaufränkisch, and 5% Saint Laurent.

Oh the sassy funk of an Austrian red. The fruit profile is complex and changes and you roll it around in your mouth. Strawberries, spiced cherries, boysenberries, coconut, tomatoes? Christmas spices, dried herbs and flowers crawl out of the glass. Tannins and acidity trade blows on the palate. There's something so unpredictable about this blend. Keep digging!
