Fruit forward- ish but balanced by some grip & some core minerality. A brighter style of red fruit I’m used to but stll quite good. . Went perfectly w roast chicken & salad. French family in Washington State

Well, it’s the most old world of any Red Mountain wine I’ve ever tasted. Unfortunately, that also means it’s full of Brett. I was very pleasantly surprised at the oak profile, but the Brett just kinda sank it for me.

Deep-toned rich nose. Loads of dark, smoky crushed stones, dark blackberry fruit. Low-toned, dark, and mouthfilling. A real subwoofer of a wine. Lots of dark, plush fruit. Love the intense dark stone minerality in the long finish. I had it with pizza (a bad pairing). This type of wine would sing with a rare hangar steak.

With quality like this from Walla Walla, it makes you want every bottle. Well done, Hedges.

Haven't had Hedges in over a year- reminded of how badass they are. A pleasant funk. Dark fruit. Fantastic.

Best domestic Syrah I've had all year. Smoked meat, leather, dense black fruit. Excellent bottle!

A big and fruity bouquet dark plum and dark cherry fruit with notes of smoke dried meat savage mocha and dark earth, violet floral notes. A big and chewy wine on the tongue with lots of dark berry and plum fruit. A host of dark earth and spice and fine tannins a nice savory finish. Finish 45+ excellent+

It's like a more fruit forward version of Crozes Hermitage...and that's not a negative. Classic bacon fat, purple flowers, and black fruits. Exuberant, but controlled.
