Seneca Lake Gewürztraminer

Apple, lemon, lychee, limestone, hay and hints of pithy orange. Good acidity and balance.

So so, I generally don't think it's a compliment when someone says "you know this is a good example of this because I don't even like the style, and I love this one". Generally, it means it's not a very good example of the product in question. In this case though, this one is really well-made, and I hate Gewurztraminer, and because of that, I absolutely hate this one. But wow, it's really impressive, has everything I'm looking for, we're not looking for, and is super aromatic and spot on.

Lychee, guava, honey, lemon and apple. Good acidity and balance.

Not normally a big fan of Gewurtz but like this one a lot. More fruity than floral, good backbone and nice finish. Did die a little on day 2.

Floral, great balance, nice bio toward end, those ____ Apple from woods when I was a kid boiled and sweet and starchy,

A little too sweet and a bit of back end offsetting finish

Good combo of fruit and spice. Big spicy nose

Rich and floral on the nose with a hint of spice. Dry and bright on the palate. Noticeable spice and minerality with almost no notion of fruit. Long, bright finish.
