Strangely enough this has a salty tang along with ripe fruit. Salty is a good word, the red head tonight has hair the colour of a chalky rosé. The language though is like a well educated sailor, salty! Good description though; salty, strong & ripe, and a little rough around the edges.

B+ dark cherry compote on the nose although took a little while for it to show. On the plate tart tannic dark fruit. Slight acidity and peppery finish. 2012 vintage
