Mar 1st, 2017Really surprisingly good wine. I would have guessed it to be a classified St. Julien. Complex and approachable. Excellent value.

Oct 12th, 2015I feel like one of my go to regions on this Friday night and so I have pulled out one of my 2009 Bordeaux. Chateau Haut Condissas from the Medoc, 70% Cabernet Sauvignon-25% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. The nose is giving off notes of Cherry, Black Raspberry, Black Plum, Black Currant, Oak, some spice and earthiness. The palate does not let me down with highly concentrated fruit with firm tannins, Black Cherry, Black Raspberry, Black Currant, with real nice tobacco, pepper, and herbal notes. I am very happy with this Bordeaux and 2009 really shows its medal. Thanks Bordeaux you really made my evening.

Nov 22nd, 2014Dark on the eyes, murky. Nose: old leather, black fruit, chocolate. Mouth: round, still young but very drinkable, round palate sweetness, balanced tannins and acidity.
