Old vines. Dense, savory, layered, smoky, mineral. Not flashy. Just really really good.

Lemon zest and wet chalkboard give way to seawater and lemon curd washed in seawater. Yum.

At winery...actually tasted 2013, which had not been labeled, so used 2012 for picture. Single vineyard called Mylos, which is owned by Monastery. Farmed by Hazidakis, now certified organic, and with 120 year old vines on own rootstock.

Bought this from one of the best wine shops in Athens. Very selective with white wine. LOVE the complexity of this-strong citrus and nice, subtle minerals. Would be wonderful to find more!
