Truth be told, this wasn’t mind blowing. But it was absolutely textbook Chardonnay, and very well made. Some ageing potential, though drinking well now. Would definitely buy again - not for a special occasion, but for one that needed a bright, generous, oaky and reliable Chard. Perfect match for any rich seafood dishes.

excellent flint nose with energetically luxurious palate. thoroughly enjoyable. precocious now with wonderful ability to age gracefully.

Lovely, precise South African Chardonnay. Nice acidity, balanced, wet stone, lemon. The perfect wine to enjoy after watching Lions mating in the bush.

Nose and pallate is slightly smoked fruit, cherries, pomegranate, strawberry, bright and fresh yet much more, silky smooth delicious. Good wines out of sa if you haven't tried capensis Chardonnay do so!

Tropical fruit, minerals, and butterscotch on the nose. Tightly wound acid on the palate with lovely minerals and opulent texture. This is an outstanding Chardonnay. Go Boks

Good luck finding a Chardonnay this good anywhere in the world at this price. Lemon, apples, and pineapple on the nose and palate with wonderful acidity and a long finish. A touch of butteriness. Heaven.
