A blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon and aged for 23 months in French oak, deep Ruby color with aromas of dark ripe fruit with sweet herbs, floral and complex spices. On the palate flavors of ripe plum, blackberry and currants, licorice, cinnamon spice, sweet oak, vanilla and cacao. Well integrated with fine soft tannins, the wine is complex yet enjoyable now and will continue to age. Long finish ending with savory oak, tobacco and slight earthy vanilla spice. Very Nice!

Blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot, 6% Merlot and 3% Syrah, aged for 23 months in French oak (50% new), deep Ruby color with aromas of dark ripe fruit with hints of floral and sweet baking spices. On the palate flavors of ripe dark berry fruit with cinnamon, sweet oak, tobacco and cacao. Well integrated fine structured tight tannins, complex and enjoyable now and should benefit from additional bottle age. Long finish ending with fruit, spice and oak.

Blend of 97% Cab Sauv, 2% Petit Verdot and 1% Cab Franc, aged for 20 months in French oak (55% new), deep Ruby with aromas of dark dried fruit with notes of floral and spices. An ideal growing season in 2012, the palate shows dense ripe dark berry fruit with a touch of leather, cinnamon, espresso, mushroom and cacao. Well integrated with fine structured tannins, the wine is complex yet enjoyable, aged well still has room to run. Long finish ending with ripe fruits and oak.

The 2017 HALL Cabernet Sauvignon is a beautiful, age-worthy release that is already brilliant on its release. Shades of sandalwood and mocha, with tar and blackberry compote all combine aromatically in the glass. The palate is dense and plush, showing a soft, rich texture. Layers of blueberry pie and black tea, alongside Asian spices and mocha all artfully dance together on the palate. The long, gratifying finish accentuates this great new release. Already delicious in its youth, the 2017 HALL Cabernet Sauvignon will provide drinking enjoyment for another decade to come. Drink 2020-2030- 93

Very nice. Though I found it a bit hot. 15.5% is Zin territory. Blackberry. Cocoa. Earth. Optimal after about two hours open.
