Exzellenz Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Pretty good for Napa Cab. Super lush and plenty of oak. Not particularly interesting but easy drinking with steak.

Dark purplish red. Dark and rich on the nose, can easily smell inches away from the glass. Aromas of anise, vanilla, oak and black fruits. Heavy tannins (8/10) and full bodied. Insanely rich on the palate, the flavors completely coats your mouth. Layers of cassis, plums and dark cocoa. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2042.

Made up of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged for 26 months in 90% new French oak barrels.

Every once in a while you need to treat yourself. This is not an inexpensive bottle of wine but man it is so good. Smooth delicious and something to be savored. Dark fruits and spice are elegantly displayed in this wine. I am sure it will only get better with time.

So. Much. Fruit. Almost trips over itself. Domineering.

Bright and punchy fruit, with plenty of acid and tannin to coast into a second day. Very Hall.

Wow this is amazing, good acidity, plus tannins and a long finish. Notes of chocolate and coffee on the nose with dark fruit and the textbook Rutherford dust to finish.
