Another solid vintage. Blend of Tempranillo (85%) and Graciano (15%). Dark ruby color with a slight orange rim. Aromas of ripe red and black fruit, purple flowers, spices and cedar wood. Flavors of red and black plums, balsamic vinegar, strawberries, black licorice and savory spices. Light touch of vanilla on the long spicy/earthy finish. Velvety tannins and bright acidity. Fucking delicious! First Spanish wine I have tried and very satisfied. Very easy drinking. Was good as soon as I opened the bottle and only got better as it opened up.
Very well rounded. A little earthy, a little round? Nothing stuck out too much, apart from just being a VERY easy drinking wine! Got it at an excellent price relative to the flavour also which justifies the rating.
