Good balance and structure, with berry notes and spice on the nose, a good long finish. It reminds me of other good Riojas I’ve had.

A mostly smooth, medium bodied Spanish Tempranillo from Rioja. Cherry and dried fig on the nose with a bit of heat. Flavours of blackberry, cherry, red licorice, cedar and tobacco. Finishes with some texture. I liked it.

🇪🇸Full body mix of Tempranillo 🍇 with some Garnacha and a bit of Graciano. Aged 2 years with 18 of those months in oak barrels, it has a slight taste of vanilla for a smooth finish. Drier than sweet, I would pair this wine 🍷 with veal scallopino and green trimmings. 13.5 % ABV
