Jun 12th, 2024Super fine and mineral nose. Confectionery. Crushed rocks. This is dancing on the palate. Textured and rich but it’s also so fine. Juicy and concentrated and so sappy and so pure. Dense yet dancing. The most cerebral wine of the trip.

Late release after prolonged barrel aging.
Waxy, evolved, round with uber ripe lemons & nice exotic note. Creamy & quite broad for Riesling. On the palate this starts creamy and then the racy, steely acidity bites in. Nice breadth & weight. Yet balanced! Not too long though.
Somehow - I’m not that impressed.

This is a different animal! Smouldering smokey nose with light ripe fruit. Woody and complex. Changing with every sip and just got better and better. Loved this wine. Major recommendation!
